چکیده

Quenching has been established as a viable method to increase the depolarization temperature in (100-x) Na1/2Bi1/2TiO3–xBaTiO3 (NBT–xBT). The proposed hypothesis of stabilized ferroelectric order would entail changes polarized volume. To this end, air-quenched and furnace cooled samples four compositions NBT–xBT with x = 3, 6, 9, 12 mol. % BT were studied. Upon quenching, all demonstrate an relaxor transition temperature, TF-R, by 23–44 °C enhanced lattice distortion. Resonance frequency damping analysis was utilized measure Young's modulus range 25 800 estimate volume fraction polar nanoregions using composite model. leads 8% decrease modulus, but 12% at 300 for NBT-6BT. Transmission electron microscopy investigations quenched NBT-6BT reveal combination lamellar domains more homogenous areas nanometer-sized domains. existence morphotropic phase boundary together distortion dielectric dispersion substantiate premise order.

Field-induced percolation of polar nanoregions in relaxor ferroelectrics.

A first-principles-based effective Hamiltonian is used to investigate low-temperature properties of Ba(Zr,Ti)O(3) relaxor ferroelectrics under an increasing dc electric field. This system progressively develops an electric polarization that is highly nonlinear with the dc field. This development leads to a maximum of the static dielectric response at a critical field, E(th), and involves four d...

Correlation Between Cannabidiol-Induced Reduction of Infarct Volume and Inflammatory Factors Expression in Ischemic Stroke Model

Introduction: Recent studies demonstrated that cannabidiol had neuroprotective property. Thereis some evidence about effective role of cannabidiol in reducing ischemic damages. It has been reported that infarct size is influenced by various factors after MCAO, including inflammatory factors. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the effect of cannabidiol on infarction volume and correlat...

Blood volume fraction measurements using MRI: a correlation between two-photon and in silico MR estimates

Introduction Several MR methods allow quantification of microvascular characteristics such as blood volume, vessel size index [1] or blood oxygenation level [2]. Although these methods have shown good correlation with other techniques, the absolute quantification requires further investigation [3]. Recently, it has been shown that MR signal from complex microvascular networks could be obtained ...
